Ten Book Series I Want To Start

I was looking around my Goodreads page and began a list of books I wanted to start and then I figured that I could narrow that down and make a blog post about it! So I will give the list and the reason I want to start the book series.

  1. “An Ember In The Ashes” by Sabaa Tahir: I have wanted to read this book since I heard about it before it came out. I got the book the day it came out but have not started it yet. It sounds incredible and has got amazing reviews so far which makes me want to read it even more.
  2. “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R.R. Martin: I have watched a few episodes of the series and I really liked it and I heard that the books are just as good, though I have heard that they are slow and too detailed in parts, so I need to pick up these books.
  3. “Mistborn” by Brandon Sanderson: I have heard amazing things about this series and I really want to read this series. I was worried to read an epic fantasy but then I started to read “The Name of the Wind” and realized I could easily fall into the intense world of fantasy.
  4. “A Court of Thorns and Roses” by Sarah J. Maas: I have read Sarah J. Maas’ “Throne of Glass” series, well the first one at least, and I really enjoyed her writing style so I want to read more of her books.
  5. “Red Queen” by Victoria Aveyard: These books have such pretty covers and amazing premises that I have no idea why I haven’t read this series yet. There are some bad reviews but I figure that I will like it because it sounds like it would be right up my alley.
  6. “Little House” by Laura Ingalls Wilder: I grew up watching this TV show and I absolutely loved it. I remember when I was younger I had taken the books out of the library but I don’t think I read them for whatever reason. I really want to read the series and relive my childhood.
  7. “Falling Kingdoms” by Morgan Rhodes: This is a young adult epic fantasy that sounds so interesting that I think whenever I am in the middle of a book that I should read the series but then when I get done the book I forget about them and I start the cycle again.
  8. “Bitten” by Kelley Armstrong: This is her adult series that I have wanted to read ever since I read her Young Adult series. All of my friends say that it is really good and I have no idea why I haven’t read this yet.
  9. “Paper Gods” by Amanda Sun: These books are set in Japan, enough said.
  10. “Clockwork Angel” by Cassandra Clare: The first spin off series in the Mortal Instruments’ world. This is set in the past and I have heard nothing but good things about this series and I really want to read it after I read “City of Glass.”
